That's the score after 1 here in the first Semi-final of the day. Both teams started cold, the first points not coming until just under the 5 minute mark in the qurter.
Don Weber is the sports director at ICN6, who started covering sports full time in 1986.
Years later, Weber, a graduate from NKU, is still at it, taking pride in giving the young
athletes of Northern Kentucky recognition for their talents.
“It’s very rare to work in the same place for so long, especially in your home town,”
says Weber, who has proudly been with ICN6 for 26 years.
Weber has even won the Distinguished Service Award from the Northern Kentucky
Athletic Directors Association, for his excellent work.
An Alexandria resident, Weber has lived in Northern Kentucky his whole life, and enjoys
traveling and coaching his kid’s softball, baseball and basketball teams. He has also been happily
married to his wife, Kim, for 16 years, and is the father of two children, 13 year-old Hannah,
and 9 year-old Noah.
